In our restaurant in the Prince Hall (seating 40), tradition and quality set the tone. The restaurant in the Van Pallant Hall (also seating 40), can be reserved for larger groups for a more private setting. The Tower Room offers an exclusive table in the oldest part of the castle.

Area information

Wittem Castle is nestled in Geul valley; one of the most beautiful valleys of Southern Limburg. The Geul valley is named after the fast flowing river Geul, which passes through the 3-hectare park with its centennial trees and picturesque moats. The surrounding area offers many relaxing activities, such as hiking or biking through the woods and the hills, swimming, playing tennis, horseback riding, fishing or golfing. The impressive and breathtaking nature reserves of the Ardennes and the Eifel can be reached by car within 45 minutes.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  EUR 1.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast costs EUR 19.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 22.50 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
