Start each day with a wonderful breakfast whilst enjoying magnificent views over Applethwaite and the Troutbeck Valley. Choose from our selection of cereals, yogurt and fresh fruit salad before sampling the full English breakfast, something a little lighter, all prepared using the freshest local ingredients. There are 2 restaurants in the village which serve lunches and evening meals.

Wireless internet is available in the hotel rooms and is free of charge.

Free public parking is possible on site.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, the first night will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
