By Public Transport: - From Berne or Lucerne take a train to Interlaken Ost. - Change for the Berner-Oberland train. It takes 5 minutes to reach Wilderswil station.

Area information

The most beautiful destinations in the Bernese Oberland are easily accessible by train or car. The picturesque village of Wilderswil, only 3 km from Interlaken, is the ideal starting point at any time of the year for excursions, hikes, sports and adventures. Excursions to the Jungfraujoch, to Schilthorn or Piz Gloria, or boat trips on the Thun and Brienz lakes are just some of the numerous options for a day trip. The imposing Trümmelbach waterfall, the St Beaus prehistoric caves, the Aare gorge and the open-air Ballenberg museum are just a short bus or train ride away. Wilderswil is also an ideal starting point for winter sports in the Jungfrau region.
