A buffet breakfast is served at the the hotel every morning. Some rooms also feature a balcony. In addition, very much appreciated, Hotel Rathaus features its own patisserie. A restaurant offers a rich choice of freshly prepared dishes typical of the Harz region. A children's playground is located in Hotel Rathaus's garden. For active guests we offer an exercise bike, and above all, table tennis and table football. Guests at the the hotel can enjoy hiking amid beautiful surroundings, very much appreciated, mountain biking or cross-country skiing along perfectly prepared trails in the winter. Alternatively guests can relax by enjoying a soothing massage. Customers appreciate the hotel is also the ideal base for several excursions by car or bicycle.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Half board costs EUR 13 per person per night.  Full board costs EUR 22 per person per night. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 10 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 5 per night per person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 15 per night per person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
