Food & Beverages

The hotel restaurant and its chef de cuisine, Karl Malafa, are well-known for their contemporary interpretations of traditional Viennese and Austrian dishes. The Gartenhotel has become one of the city’s gastronomic highlights with its 2 restaurants, Reco's Bar, Cafeteria Rosso, its Barbecue Thursdays and the Family Brunch. Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and costs EUR 4.00 per hour.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 12:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  2.8 % city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge for extra beds.  All children from 6 to 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
