Our 24 bright rooms are decorated in "Le Corbusier" colours and equipped with design furniture from the 1920s.

Hotel details

In the summer of 2003, the hoteI's interior was extensively renovated in the Bauhaus style of the 1920s, since the building's cubic exterior conspicuously resembles this style. Well-known artists such as Wassily Kandinsky (painter), Paul Klee (painter) and Marcel Breuer (architect) can be admired in the interior design.

Food & Beverages

The spacious hotel restaurant seats 120 people (in summer an additional 80 guests can be seated in the garden) and serves regional Swiss dishes and refined, high-quality wines.

Internet

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs CHF 5.00 per 30 minutes.

Free public parking is possible on site.

Pets are allowed on request. Charges may be applicable.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  CHF 2.50 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 8 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.  One child from 8 to 12 years is charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed.  One older child or adult is charged 100 % of the room stay per night and person in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1. 

Please note that in case specific policies apply to a particular room or rate, the specific room/rate policy prevails over the general hotel policy
