Area information

In walking distance from the Lodge along safe routes are the Westville Country Club with all its sport/club facilities, the Westville Metro Swimming pool (Olympic size), Westville Shopping Centers housing restaurants, supermarkets, clothing stores, local pubs/bars and foreign exchange banks. The lodge borders onto the Nature Trail and the Open sports fields of the Westville Old Boys Association .The Palmiet and Roosfontein Nature Reserves are a short 5 minutes drive away where regular informal / formal walks can be arranged.

Travel information

By car: - Arriving at Durban International Airport, turn right at the T-junction and continue on the left-hand lane. - Follow the N2 North Coast/Stanger. - Change onto the N3, direction of Pietermaritzburg, and take the first turn-off (exit number 13). - The guest house is just 1 km from Pavilion Shopping Centre. - Coming from Durban/North & South Coast/Airport, turn right onto St James Avenue (M32) at the traffic lights. (Head away from the Pavilion) - Head in the direction of Westville CBD, staying in the right-hand lane in the process. - Continue ahead at the traffic lights. - The guest house is after 900 metres, on your right-hand side.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 29 days before date of arrival, 25 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

50 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

14 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  1 % city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is not included, breakfast menu is available and costs vary. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child from 2 to 10 years is charged ZAR 150.00 per night and person in an extra bed.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
