Area information

The hotel is an ideal starting point for those seeking to explore a series of nearby ‘Alms’ (mountain pastures). The Kohleralm is a 2-hour hike (with the Sonntagshorn mountain on the left), the Höllenbachalm is an easier walking trail. You can also try the Pichleralm, Reiteralm or Kaitalm. There are licensed eateries on the ‘Alms’ where you can treat yourself to snacks and drinks. You can swim outdoors at Zwingsee (3 km away), Thumsee (5 km), Ruhpolding (10 km) and Bad Reichenhall (12 km). In the winter you can visit the ice-rinks at Inzell and Bad Reichenhall, as well as a winter biathlon centre in Ruhpolding.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified up to 15 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled or modified up to 1 day before date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.40 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast costs EUR 6.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 14.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 3.
