Waterville is known as the jewel in the kingdom of Kerry, as it has a wealth of natural beauty, with magnificent mountains, beaches, lakes, and rivers. It has attracted many famous celebrities over the years, including Charlie Chaplin, Tiger Woods and Payne Stewert. Half way around the famous Ring of Kerry, Pax House is centrally located to the myriad of activities that Waterville has to offer. Local activities include: 2 golf courses (renowned Waterville links and the newly-opened Skellig Bay); horse riding; cycling; bike hire nearby; walking routes; caneoing; sailing; diving; and fishing (lake, river and sea) - Lough Currane is famous for salmon and trout fishing. Local historical sites include Derrynane House and National Park, home to Daniel O'Connell the Liberator; Staigue Fort; Cill Rialig; and the world iconic Skellig Islands. For the ornithologist, this is a haven as there is a variety of birds. Many of the best gourmet restaurants, and traditional pubs with live music are found here. Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

20 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

This hotel has no meal services. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
