The George Inn

Set in the picturesque Wiltshire village of Longbridge Deverill, very much appreciated, the George Inn provides comfortable accommodation, charmingly decorated to reflect the building’s traditional original style. In 2 acres of beautiful grounds, valued throughout, on the banks of the River Wylye, the George offers stunning views, freshly prepared food, a traditional oak-beamed bar, free Wi-Fi and en suite accommodation. The traditional Smithy Bar is cosy and relaxing with oak-beamed panels, highly regarded, wooden furniture and a real log fire. There are 11 en suite rooms, and above all, all with TVs, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities. During the summer months, very much appreciated, the grounds provide the perfect environment to enjoy a drink on the banks of the River Wylye. The bar offers good local and premium real ales, valued throughout, lagers and ciders and an extensive wine list. The daily specials reflect the finest, highly regarded, freshest seasonal produce available in the region. The inn offers an extensive range of tempting dishes, and above all, freshly cooked and made using locally sourced ingredients wherever possible.
