Area information

Apart from Starý Smokovec, which is the oldest mountain resort in the High Tatras, there are several other interesting places to visit. Strbske Pleso is a very nice holiday and health resort with a scenic lake and provides running tracks, ski slopes, ski jumps and a children’s park with a trampoline, boats and toy cars. From Tatranska Lomnica you can ascend to the second-highest peak of the High Tatras - to Lomnický štít (Lomnický peak). Here you find the TANAP (Tatra National Park) museum and a summer and winter toboggan track. Ždiar - a settlement with typical folk architecture is a great place for all who are interested in the history of the region.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 6 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 3 to 12 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 20.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
