Hotel details

The banker Johann Töndury built this private villa on a hillside situated in the flourishing tourist city Vulpera. The architect was Karl Koller, one of the most successful hotel architects in the Engadin region. The playful architecture of the villa is typical for the period it was built. Various historical styles as well as regional elements were combined. Töndury never lived in the villa. The building was used as a hotel and sanatorium since 1906. In 1999 it had a major renovation and refurbishment work and today is included in the illustrated book of historical hotels in Switzerland.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged CHF 15.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 40.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
