Travel information

Parking space right by the hotel is rather limited and cannot be guaranteed. Public parking though is available within 1 - 2 minutes' walking distance (fees apply).

Area information

Vitznau is one of the main departure points for excursions into the mountains and on the lake. The first cog railway of Europe departs in front of the hotel and boats to Lucerne or to the Fjord-like end of the lake leave approximately once an hour in summer. The steepest mountain railway in the world up to Mount Pilatus, cable car up Mount Titlis, which is snow-capped all year, as well as the biggest fleet of traditional steam boats in Europe are additional attractions. Enjoy hiking in the mountains, go for a walk along the lake or spend a relaxing day on the beach. The "Tell-Pass" is the ideal ticket to explore the area at an affordable price. As public transport is so efficient, you don't need to drive!

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged CHF 10.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 15.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
