Hotel details

The hotel's own sandy beach is a true idyll, and in the old boat house the new steam bath is located. On the idyllic shore, during a sunny summer day, the sandy beach is fully enjoyed by our guests. The shore has a very gentle slope and is suited for inexperienced swimmers and children. A changing cubicle as well as deckchairs are provided. The hotel is located in a very quiet area.

Travel information

By train/boat: International connections to Lucerne. From here you have the option of taking either a boat to Weggis/Vitznau or a train to Küssnacht am Rigi changing to the Riviera bus to reach the lakeside resorts. The Rigi is accessible by cable car from Weggis or by cog railway from Vitznau, or from Goldau, where international trains stop. Arrival by plane: The journey by public transport from the international airports of Basel and Zurich to Lucerne takes approximately one hour, from where there are boat connections to Weggis/Vitznau.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  CHF 3.40 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged CHF 15.00 per night and person for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
