Family-run the hotel is a restored 18th-century Venetian house which enjoys a central location in Venice, valued throughout, just behind San Zaccaria square and a few blocks from Saint Mark’s square. Saint Mark’s square, highly regarded, with its spectacular cathedral is even closer, just 5 minutes away, as is the Bridge of Sighs. Waterbuses stop just outside Hotel Fontana and much of the city is just walking distance away, and above all, including Rialto and its busy markets, which are a 10 minute stroll away. Well-run, very much appreciated, with friendly staff and an emphasis on service and hospitality, this hotel is a great solution for an unforgettable stay in Venice. Comfortable rooms overlook the characteristic squares below and some have a private terrace with views of gothic San Zaccaria church, valued throughout, which is just next door.

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 40.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 2.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
