Area information

The town of Unterwössen is situated in the Chiemgau Alps half way between the Chiemsee lake and Reit im Winkl, on the "Deutschen Alpenstraße" (a long tourism street sweeping through the German Alps). The Achental valley with its beautiful peaks offers all kinds of hiking and walking opportunities. In Unterwössen, Balsberg, Winklmoos-Steinplatte or in the ski resort of Hochkössen you can find snow-covered racing pistes, while Unterwössen itself also has 19 km of cross country skiing tracks. In 10 minutes by car you will find a 100 km long cross country slope. Tee off on one of the 6 beautiful golf courses with unique panoramic views of the Chiemgau Alps or take a plane ride around breath-taking mountain scenery.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 17.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
