All of the rooms have an individual style, leaving no one room the same as another. Choose between the charm of timeless luxury of one of the Palace Rooms or a modern atmosphere in the Academy or Consulate Rooms. Luxurious fabrics such as silk, satin and brocade and selected antiques are used to reflect the grandeur of the palace.

Hotel details

Originally a Danish court residence and then a hunting palace, the history of Schloß Tremsbüttel is as diverse as its past guests, who have ranged from poets and writers to bands and actors. Celebrate with up to 120 guests in these wonderful surroundings. The elegant halls offer the perfect atmosphere for every occasion. The academy offers a fully equipped conference center with combineable rooms. Events taking place during the year include Easter brunch, wine tasting evenings, the opening of the beer garden season, open-air Sunday masses, concerts, exhibitions and opera performances.

Food & Beverages

The hotel’s café offers homemade cakes and gateaux from 12:00 until 18:00 daily. Teas, coffees and pastries are also available in the conservatory and on the terrace. The palace has its own fully trained chefs, who will spoil you with first-class cuisine in the à la carte restaurant, open daily between 17:00 and 21:00. Here, only the best ingredients are used to create seasonal specialities from Schleswig-Holstein. Catering for guests of events needs to be pre-arranged, with prices varying depending on the type of stay, event and number of people.

Wireless internet is available in some hotel rooms and charges are applicable.  Wired internet is available in some hotel rooms and charges are applicable.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 32.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 2.
