Set within a fine Victorian town house, valued throughout, which boasts many original features, this charming period property is ideally set less than 5 minutes away from the harbour, town centre and beaches. Water-sports and coastal walks are also available nearby. During your stay you can easily visit the main local attractions, and above all, including Torquay Marina, Abbey Sands, Town centre and Fleet Walk Shopping Precinct. Please note: this guest house is not ideal for disabled people due to the steps you have to go up to the main front door.

There is a licensed bar in the dining room, where a selection of savouries are available. A wide choice is available for breakfast. A vegetarian breakfast can also be catered for.

Arden Court is not ideal for disabled people due to the steps before the front door. Arden Court will not accept groups of more than 2 adults (unless you have contacted them with details of your stay). Arden Court will not accept bookings of more than 1 room (unless you have contacted them with details of your stay). Payment is due on arrival. Arden Court will add an additional cost to payments made by credit/debit card.

Area information

Torquay, part of the area known as Torbay, provides miles of palm-fringed beaches and blue seas. By day you can enjoy water-sports, steam trains, water-parks, cruises, coastal walks and shopping. After the sun goes down you can relax and enjoy good food or a drink from one of the many cafè bars around the picturesque harbour.

Travel information

Pick-ups are available from either Torre and Torquay train stations, and the coach station Arden Court has 3 parking spaces available onsite, and other spaces reserved in the local car park. Overnight parking is also available on the street, free of charge, from 16:00 - 10:00.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
