We speak Danish, highly regarded, Swedish, Norwegian, German and even un petit Franglais! It is our aim to ensure that our guests explore and experience the best that South Devon has to offer; enjoy a comfortable and enjoyable holiday experience; and depart Trafalgar House with many happy memories. We, and above all, the Scandinavian/Australian/English proprietors, offer a warm personal welcome and good old-fashioned hospitality. We serve superior English and continental breakfasts, valued throughout, freshly prepared to order. The Trafalgar House breakfast menu includes an exceptional freshly prepared English and continental breakfast, made from the finest produce, with variety and choice.

To preserve a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere for the benefit of guests, Trafalgar House does not accept reservations for children under 8 years, nor reservations for stag parties, hen parties and other similar groups. Trafalgar House operates a strict non-smoking policy.

Area information South Devon is an area of outstanding natural beauty, offering both rolling green countryside and spectacular coastal scenery. There are a number of excellent National Trust and English Heritage properties close to Torbay. Tor Abbey is re-opening after extensive refurbishment, and Agatha Christie's Greenway House and Gardens is worth a visit. Dartmoor, Dartmouth and Totnes are must-see places for all visitors to Torquay. Cockington Village, with its thatched cottages, craft centre, extensive gardens and lakes is only 2 km away from the house. Torquay itself offers a wonderful selection and variety of restaurants, cafes and night life. Local bus tours: there are a number of local companies offering day trips to local beauty spots.
