Rooms

Our small family-run guest house is tastefully decorated and very clean. It consists of a variety of different sized bedrooms that can comfortably sleep from one to 5 people. All the rooms have remote control colour television with digital Freeview controls. There is ample storage space within the rooms. Tea/coffee making facilities are available in the rooms along with complimentary biscuits. Within the en suite rooms there is a door that takes you through to the fully fitted en suite that is furbished with a shower cubicle, sink and toilet. The toilets are kept very clean and will be serviced along with your room daily. If there are any towels that require changing they can be left in the shower cubicle and clean ones will be left in your room. A full linen change will be done every 3 days. Please note that en suite twin rooms are on the top floor so they may not be suitable for people with walking difficulties.

In the visitors lounge you can relax, read or simply enjoy the company of new friends at the end of a busy day. The room designs reflect their individuality but retain their spaciousness and character, the majority of rooms are en suite. Enjoy our quality home cooked breakfasts served at separate tables in the welcoming and spacious dining room.

Food & Beverages

The Belmont offers a fantastic breakfast that will fill you up for the day ahead. All dietary needs can be catered for as long as we are made aware with 24 hours prior notice. We offer a full English breakfast or vegetarian breakfast using Quorn sausages. Tea or coffee and toast, orange juice and cereal are always available. Our breakfast times are 09:00 to 09:30 but alternate breakfast times can be catered for by previous arrangement.

Please note that the management reserve the right at any time to remove from the property anyone who is found to be disruptive and/or in any way antisocial to other occupants within the building. Unruly behaviour will not be tolerated and a refund will not be given. Booking for single sex groups of 3 or more people will not be accepted.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
