Area information

The world-famous settlement of Tokaj in the Hegyalja wine region lies at the foot of Kopasz Hill, at the confluence of the rivers Tisza and Bodrog, between the Zemplén Mountains and the Great Plain ("Alföld"). Tokaj has a harbour on the Tisza river. The town can also be reached by kayak and canoe on the Bodrog from Sárospatak. This area is suitable for fishing, hunting, canoe-tours, water-skiing and boating. There even is a ski slope in town. Walking and cycling tours can be enjoyed in the untouched Zemplén lands with is many monuments, castle ruins and other historical sites. Local attractions and programs: Knight Days, writer's camp, wine festival, vintage, wine tasting in local wine cellars, boat trips on the Bodrog river, trips to the towns of Muhi, Miskolc, Hortobágy, Debrecen and Sárospatak.

Travel information

Tokaj is also reachable by train via Budapest using the InterCity leaving from Keleti railway station.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

18 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 1.00 city/tourist tax per person per night is included. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
