Our cosy 3-star the hotel in chalet-style close to Lake Thun offers you nicely furnished rooms at reasonable rates and great cuisine. In the evening we offer a wide choice of meat, highly regarded, fish, pasta and vegetarian dishes and the service team is happy to assist in selecting wine to go with your menu. Besides that you can also opt for one of 3 inexpensive lunch menus. Simply but nicely furnished rooms provide for a peaceful night's rest. Taste the delicious Alsatian Tarte flambée! There is also the separate “Grottostübli” for our no-smoking guests. Our the hotel is the nearest hotel to the summer music festival at Lake Thun. Wireless internet access is available in the entire hotel and the sauna and the steam bath are great places to relax after a rewarding day.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included.

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged CHF 20.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 40.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
