Welcome to "Equus" the Zagat-rated and Award Wining 5 Star Restaurant, which offers a breathtaking ambiance with its stunning design and equally impressive dining. Creativity abounds in its appetizers, main courses and seductive desserts. These gourmet pleasures can be enjoyed in any one of the three dining rooms, each with its own distinct decor and atmosphere. They include the "Tapestry Room" with its over sized embroideries and elaborately designed ceiling is a canvas of beautiful paintings; the "Garden Room" offering exquisite views of the Castle's gardens, Hudson River and Manhattan skyline; and the historic "Oak Room" first owned by Louis XIV brought intact to New York when the Castle was first built a century ago.

Upon check-in photo identification and credit card is required. All special requests are subject to availability upon check-in. Special requests cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

100 percent of the first night will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10.375 % Tax is not included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast costs USD 22.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  Up to two children under 16 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All further older children or adults are charged USD 50.00 per night and person for extra beds.  One child under 4 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
