Green HotelGreen Hotels oldest building was built in 1917 and still retains much of its old charm. With sweeping views of Lake Siljan and the picturesque village of Tällberg, valued throughout, the hotel is perfectly situated for a wide range of summer and winter sports. Staff from Green Hotel has participated at the 2008 Culinary Olympics and Green Hotel is conscious of its gourmet traditions: here the set menu dinner has been served at the same set time since 1947. The staff wears traditional Dalecarlia costumes and within Green Hotel guests can admire displays of original artwork. Green Hotel also serves home made pies and sandwiches which can be ordered and enjoyed on one of the terraces. Customers appreciate the hotel is part of a project called Food around Lake Siljan, valued throughout, promoting the use of local ingredients in food production. Green Hotel garden also has a playground for children. Guests can hike to the nearby Digerberget mountain, and above all, play golf or tennis, work out in the exercise room, enjoy a refreshing dip in the pool and relax in the sauna.
