Hotel details

The historic surroundings of Såstaholm and its past as a retired actors' residence are perfectly suited for activities such as Theatre Sports and “Murder at the Mansion”. Workshops are run by experienced actors and stage managers. In the summer, you can enjoy water activities and clay pigeon shooting. There are boats to hire, bicycles to borrow and a lit up jogging track.

Food & Beverages

Breakfast is served from 07:00 until 09:00 (weekends from 07:30 until 11.00); lunch from 11:30 until 13:30 (weekdays); and dinner from 18:00 until 21:30 (Sundays usually closed). The restaurant offers fine Scandinavian and international cuisine in an Art Deco setting. There are 4 differently sized dining rooms with a seating capacity of 8 to 100 persons. The pavilion has a terrace overlooking Vallentuna Lake, where dinner can be served on bright Swedish summer nights. An infrared warmer and a big open fireplace will make even chilly nights pleasant. The bar displays the history of Såstaholm and has a good selection of drinks and light meals. The wine cellar is filled with quality wines from all over the world.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs SEK 60.00 per hour.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

12 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Breakfast costs SEK 165.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged SEK 300.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged SEK 300.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
