The Macleay offers studio apartments, best described as self catering hotel rooms. Each studio apartment is self contained with a kitchen and ensuite bathroom. The studio apartments were been completely refurbished in 2008. Many of the studios have the most stunning views of either The Bridge & Opera House or Elizabeth Bay across the Harbour to Manly Heads.

The Macleay is a nine storey building with 126 self contained studio apartments. All apartments have their own kitchen and ensuite bathroom. From your kitchen you are able to cook up anything from a light meal to a gourmet feast. Each apartment also provides; Individual Air Conditioning & Opening Windows iPod Docking Station & LCD Digital Televisions Direct Dial Phones - ADSL Internet Iron and Ironing Board - Hair Dryer Tea & Coffee making facilities The hotel also provides restaurant and room service, pool and sundeck, under cover on site parking, 24 Hour reception, Guest business Desk, Guest laundry on every floor and free memership to KX Fitnesss.

Food & Beverages

The Macleay Hotel offers guests a choice of dining options with Zinc Café available for room service and dine in breakfast or the Arun Thai Restaurant for room service or dine in evening meals. And for those preferring to prepare there own meal in the comfort of their studio apartment, there is the convenience of a Woolworths supermarket or a number of other gourmet food stores just opposite the hotel. Macleay Street, Potts Point and Kings Cross are also home to a wide variety of cafes, restaurants, bars.

Internet

Wired internet is available in the hotel rooms and costs AUD 15.00 per hour. 

Parking

Private parking is possible on site (reservation is needed) and costs AUD 15.00 per day.

Pets are not allowed.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is not included, breakfast menu is available and costs vary. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged AUD 25.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
