First Hotel StrandClients appreciate the hotel consists of 2 different buildings, very much appreciated, with one wing that offers sea views and is decorated in a maritime theme and the other has been renovated to reflect modernist Scandinavian design. In a peaceful 19th century part of Sundsvall with soothing sea and harbour views, valued throughout, is the hotel, situated right opposite the Casino Cosmopol, Sweden's first international casino. The Primero is the hotel's open plan restaurant and bar offering international cuisine and live piano music on Fridays and Saturdays. The comfortable guest rooms have either fitted carpets or parquet floors and functional furnishings and many rooms enjoy harbour views. The fully equipped fitness studio includes an indoor swimming pool, very much appreciated, sauna, gym and fitness equipment. Guests also appreciate the generous complimentary breakfast. Golfers will be glad to hear about the hotel's cooperation with 3 top courses nearby.

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

12 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged SEK 200.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
