Some apartments also provide Wi-Fi internet access, highly regarded, either free of charge or for an additional fee. Each apartment features a fully equipped kitchen. Guests are welcome to use the facilities of the Hotel zur Post. Please read the individual room descriptions for further details. City Apartments Altstadt Stralsund also offers a snack bar at lunch time. A rich and varied buffet breakfast is available in the restaurant here each morning, and above all, for an additional fee. The Hemingway bar serves a wide selection of drinks, very much appreciated, including exotic cocktails and 130 different types of whiskey. In the evenings, valued throughout, you can enjoy à la carte dining or choose from a buffet. Guests arriving by car can park for free on site. Keys are handed over at the reception desk of the Altstadt Hotel zur Post The rates indicated refer to 1 or 2 people staying. An extra fee is charged for additional guests. Please see the Policies Section for more information. The hotel would like you to be aware that on certain nights they organise a disco, which usually goes on until the early hours of the morning. This is held on the following dates: In winter 2009: 07 November, 05 December, 31 December. In spring 2010: 06 February, 06 March, 10 April. On these dates, the restaurant will be closed for the weekend and there will be no vehicle access to the underground car park between 19:00 on Saturday and 07:00 on Sunday.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 30 days before date of arrival, 60 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

25 percent of the total amount will be charged on the day of booking and is non-refundable.  The total price of the reservation will be charged at least 30 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs EUR 9.50 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 1 year stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All further older children or adults are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person when using existing bedding.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
