Thorpe Thewles lodge is situated in a beautiful village on the A177. It is 6.7 miles from Yarm centre and 3.9 miles away from Stockton town centre. Thorpe Thewles has 2 beautiful country pubs where you can enjoy a relaxing evening.

Travel information

By Car - Thorpe Thewles is located off the A177. - Once arriving in Thorpe Thewles village, turn into Off Durham Road, situated at the side of the Hamilton Russell public house. - Follow this road for half a mile until you reach the flyover. Turn right on to a quaint farmer’s lane which takes you directly to Thorpe Thewles Lodge.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 3 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast costs GBP 4.00 per person.  Full English breakfast costs GBP 6.00 per person.  Buffet breakfast costs GBP 4.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults stay free of charge for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
