Additional highlights of Hotel & Restaurant Christkindlwirt are the south-facing terrace at a height of 25 metres, highly regarded, and the Angel Rock, which is illuminated with the colours of the rainbow. Bathrobes and bathing shoes are available at the reception at a charge and a deposit. A fruit basket is available at the reception. The Hotel Christkindlwirt welcomes you with a drink at the cosy hotel bar and bids you farewell with a small good-bye gift.

Area information

Christkindl has been a famous pilgrimage site since 1695. The baroque church was built between 1702 and 1725 by the architects Giovanni Battista Carlone and Jakob Prandtauer. It is dedicated to the Christ Child (Baby Jesus), who in Austria is the bringer of gifts on Christmas Eve, making it a very popular place to visit. Throughout the year the Christkindl Church hosts festive masses and spectacular concerts by excellent performers. The romantic ambience and the magic of Christkindl will make your holiday an unforgettable experience at any time of the year. During the Christmas season, the famous Christmas Post Office is located directly in the hotel. Several jogging and Nordic walking trails are located in the vicinity of the hotel.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 0.75 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
