Style and comfort were the watchwords when the 123-room hotel was built. You can choose between 72 comfortable Standard Rooms, 36 modern Business Class Rooms and 12 spacious Junior Suites. The 3 Penthouse Suites promise a fantastic view of historic St. Gallen and the Appenzell countryside, and are also a popular venue for private occasions. In Business Class rooms and Penthouse Suites guests enjoy the Super Breakfast Buffet, a bathrobe with slippers, a Nespresso coffee maker, a daily newspaper and a free parking place in the underground car park. A shoe-cleaning service and a taxi service to St. Gallen train station are also available.

Restaurant Olivé: This first-class restaurant offers culinary pleasures in a casual atmosphere, where exclusively fresh products are turned into the finest Mediterranean dishes. On Sunday and selected public holidays brunch is a popular rendezvous for the whole family. With its fantastic dishes, a generous play area for the children as well as live music, there is something for everyone. Olivé Wine Lounge: The Olivé Wine Lounge is the ideal meeting place to let an evening come to an end in a cosy and relaxed atmosphere, or to talk about the day’s business in small groups. Enjoy the rich wines from the Mediterranean or relax with a cigar from the humidor.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 18:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  CHF 1.45 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged CHF 60.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
