The Landgasthof Zum Hirschenstein is a charming and comfortable hotel where you can relax, enjoy and feel right at home! The cosy guestrooms and studio apartments which are spacious and often feature a balcony are guarenteed to turn your stay into an unforgettable experience. The apartments also feature a kitchenette.

Hotel details

This hotel is the perfect holiday destination at all times of year. In the summer there is a swimming pool, a beach volleyball court, outside table tennis, several asphalt curling alleys and a large childrens' playground. Sporty guests can get fit in our gym room. After an eventful day of hiking, swimming, cycling, horse riding, tennis, bowling, tobogganing and sight-seeing, relax and unwind in our cosy hotel. Sprawl out on our sun-bathing lawn or have a rest in our sauna or Roman steam bath. Our 3 star country guesthouse is the ideal base for beatiful hikes. The trail Rundwanderweg No. 5 (10 km long) is right on our doorstep and joins up to the hiking network of the St. Englmar resort, which has 125 km of well-marked tracks littered with quaint snack cafes, magical viewpoints, unspoilt nature and filled with our clean and crisp mountain air. Since September 2005 we have held the certification "Quality Hiking Accommodation in Germany" and so are especially equipped to provide for the needs and demands of hikers.

Our regular guests keep coming back to enjoy both our diverse and delicious cuisine, lovingly prepared by our chef, as well as our friendly service. Our menu is full of fresh, seasonal and regional ingredients and specialities. In the comfortable "Hirschenstein-Stube" lounge room, in the Mediterranean "Toskana-Stüberl" restaurant room or in our light-flooded conservatory, every day on holiday becomes a day for celebrating. We cannot wait to treat you to our culinary delicacies and regional Bavarian dishes. Even if you prefer light-bites or international food, our menu will cater for every taste.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled or modified up to 28 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, 80 percent of all nights will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

19 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  EUR 0.80 city/tourist tax per person per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 3 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged EUR 2.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged EUR 10.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 2.
