Food & Beverages

The bar area and restaurants are situated on the ground floor. Staff will always endeavour to cater for dietary requirements. Ashbys can also cater for corporate events, or special occasions. Menus can be designed and tailored to suit the specific individual requirements of your event. Restaurant opening times: Tuesday - Thursday: dinner from 18:00 till 21:00. Friday - Saturday: dinner from 18:00 till 22:00. Sunday: lunch from 12:00 till 17:00. Monday: restaurant closed.

Payment Information: If you booked before 31 January 2009, your credit card will be debited by "hotelinfo ltd." All bookings from 01 February 2009 will have cards debited by "RelaxInnz." Additional Child Policy Info: Children older than 1 year can only be accommodated in the twin bedroom, but only if they are staying with just 1 adult. Younger children are welcome in any room, as long as they are staying in a cot.

Travel information

By Car (from the M27 motorway): - Leave the M27 motorway at junction 12 and follow the M275 into Portsmouth. - Take the A3 and follow the signs towards Southsea and the seafront. - Merge onto the A288 (Kings Terrace) and follow this road onto Clarence Parade. - After approximately 150 metres, turn left onto Auckland Road West. - The hotel is on the left-hand side.

Portsmouth’s historic dockyard is 1.6 miles (3 km) away and houses many famous ships, including the Mary Rose and Nelson's flagship, the Victory. Gunwharf Quays is 1.4 miles (2 km) away and is Portsmouth’s newest shopping centre. The regenerated waterfront area features many designer shops. Fratton Park football stadium, home to Portsmouth Football Club, is 2.5 miles (4 km) away.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

The total price of the reservation will be charged at least 2 days prior to arrival and is non-refundable.

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable.
