Each of the hotel's 8 rooms is unique and individually styled, designed and furnished, with each room offering exclusive features. Each comfortable, luxurious room is well equipped with all the contemporary comforts and facilities you need in a restful, relaxing base. All of the rooms offer as standard: 2000 pocket-sprung mattresses; silk-filled duvets and a choice of pillows; individually controlled air conditioning; large LCD flat-screen TVs with on-demand blockbuster movies and complimentary bottled water. Each room also has a workstation and, as well as Wi-Fi wireless internet access available at an additional cost, each room also has an internet connection point offering wired internet access. Every room has an en suite bathroom with under-floor heating and luxury toiletries and bathroom products from Gilchrist & Soames. A daily turndown service is standard in all rooms.

Food & Beverages

The Clarence Bar is a great place to relax in stylish and exclusive surroundings; why not chill out with friends on the comfy sofas with a glass of champagne or maybe sample one of the cocktails? The intimate restaurant offers a seasonally-inspired menu, complimented by a hand-picked selection of fine wines. If you prefer something a little lighter, the Clarence Bar serves a great selection of snacks Breakfast offers a wide choice, from the freshly cooked traditional full English breakfast to homemade waffles and from fruits and yoghurts to oven-baked pastries. Breakfast is served from 07:00 until 11:00. Dinner is Served from 18:30 until 20:45. Snacks are available 24 hours a day.

Please note that the hotel operates a strict no smoking policy. The Clarence regrets that they cannot accept guests under the age of 18.

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and costs GBP 5.00 per 24 hours.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

Children cannot be accommodated at the hotel.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
