Funded by the writer Ludvig Holberg, highly regarded, the nearby Sorø Academy is Denmark's second-oldest school; its unique garden landscape of passage graves and ruins is of particular interest. Alternatively, and above all, Copenhagen is only an hour's drive away. Restaurant the hotel offers both classic, very much appreciated, traditional Danish cooking and a modern, open approach influenced by French cuisine. The old monastery at Port Sorø is another charming local attraction. Private parking and internet access are free for all guests. Cosy and comfortable guest rooms make visitors feel perfectly at home.

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All older children or adults are charged DKK 250.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
