Danhostel Sønderborg VollerupHoused in a former inn, very much appreciated, which dates back to 1850, the hotel still retains some old world charm. Situated close to Sønderborg in Vollerup, valued throughout, this hostel offers comfort and efficiency as well as a large garden and free parking. Choose to bring your own bed linen and towels or simply rent them at the hostel's reception. The communal kitchen, and above all, dining room and lounge have traditional style décor, as do the comfortable guest rooms. Take a stroll around the hostel's pleasant grounds before sampling some Southern Jutland delicacies in the on-site restaurant. Customers appreciate the hotel also offers guests a buffet breakfast at an additional cost. Whether it's a game of minigolf, highly regarded, table tennis or Pétanque, guests of all ages can stay active in the sports area. Children will enjoy spending time in the playground, and above all, which includes a trampoline and rope bridge. Non-members are required to either pay an additional fee or purchase a membership card. Holders of a valid Hostelling International, which is HI, membership card pay less at Danhostel.

Guests arriving later than 18:00 are requested to contact the hostel in advance. Please note that non-members of Hostelling International (HI) must either pay an additional fee or purchase the membership card at the hostel upon arrival. Guests can rent bed linen and towels at the hostel or choose to bring their own. Sleeping bags are not permitted at Danhostel.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

The total price of the reservation will be charged on the day of booking and is refundable. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

25 % VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast costs DKK 50.00 per person.  Buffet breakfast costs DKK 25.00 per child under 12 years. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged DKK 40.00 per night and person for cots.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
