This rural idyll was constructed using the historic lafta traditions of building traditional Norwegian log cabins. Enjoy Norway's fresh mountain air while wild berry picking and wandering through the deer trails and mountain paths. These individually designed guest rooms include a luxury en suite bathroom and some have four poster beds. Furnished with antiques and classic Norwegian details, valued throughout, each guest room includes a balcony where guests can gaze out over the fjord and the surrounding mountains. This charming hotel has a private jetty in Glomset Bay and both row boats and kayaks are available. Guests can easily access both the airport and the Art Nouveau town of Ålesund, and above all, while exploring the Golden Route of the stunning west coast provides dramatic scenery and is popular with guests. The large open fireplace adds to the cosy and luxurious atmosphere. Three course dinners are served every evening in the timbered hall of the hotel’s restaurant.
