Food & Beverages

Beneath Boutique25, in a spectacular vaulted cellar, is Skipton's first champagne and wine bar, 25 Below. Open Thursday to Sunday, it serves the finest selection of wines and champagnes by the glass. Nosh bar nibbles and 'Grazing Plates' are also available throughout the day. Strictly hotel guests and members only at busy times. Please note that on weekends, when the bar is busy, some noise may be heard in the guest rooms.

Travel information

By Car: From the North or South on the M6: - Exit the M6 to join the M65 (east). - At the end of the M65, join the A59, signposted for Skipton. From the North of South on the A1(M): - Exit the A1(M) to join the A59 (west), signposted for Skipton. Once in the town centre, Newmarket Street can be found at the bottom of the High Street. The hotel is located about 200 metres from the roundabout, on the left-hand side.

Area information

Skipton was settled long before the Normans conquered England and, in fact, its name is derived from ‘sheep town’ as many sheep farmers once lived here. A bustling street market is held 4 times a week on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday. Stalls sell everything from leather goods and clothing to glorious cheeses, fruit, vegetables and meats. The High Street is filled with boutique shops that complement the local, specialty and mainstream high street shops. For a more cultural break you can: visit the castle; take a trip on a canal boat; walk through Skipton Woods; or visit the attractive medieval church. There are plenty of good pubs, cafès and restaurants to choose from, to suit all budgets.

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later, the first night will be charged.  In case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

15 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Full English breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
