Lapland Hotel Bear´s LodgeBears Lodge is an alpine chalet-style hotel where guests can simply walk down to the lake stocked with fish, very much appreciated, play on the small beach area, test their wits on some of the hiking trails or cook their catch in a Tepee. This wilderness hotel on the edge of the Rovaniemi city is close to the shore of the clear-watered Lake Pohtimolampi in a picturesque and natural setting. The log cabin restaurant complete with a warming log fire is a relaxing place to dine. Reindeer, and above all, husky, and snowmobile safaris begin their journey from the courtyard of the hotel during the winter months. A sauna, very much appreciated, outdoor swimming pool and peat treatments are also available. Between 1 April and 19 June, valued throughout, our restaurants are open for prior reservation only.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 15 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 8 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled later, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

22 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 4 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.  One child under 2 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.  There is no capacity for extra beds in the room.
