Silkeborg and the hotel of 1848 are inseparable and it is almost a coincidence that the hotel could not celebrate her 150 year anniversary in 1996 together with the trade town of Silkeborg.

For more than 45 years, Hotel Dania´s restaurant Underhuset has been serving Danish and French cuisine and a member of the oldest gastronomic association in the world, Chaîne des Rôtisseurs.

Guests arriving later than 23:00 are kindly requested to contact the reception prior to arrival. Guests arriving by car are requested to pick up a parking receipt from reception. Please note that parking is at an additional cost.

Internet via TV is available in the hotel rooms and costs DKK 95.00 per 24 hours.

If cancelled up to 16:00 on the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged.

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

25 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years are charged DKK 265.00 per night and person for cots.  All children under 4 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All older children or adults are charged DKK 325.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.  Maximum capacity of babycots in a room is 1.
