The Wheatsheaf Inn

Originally built in the 17th century, very much appreciated, the Wheatsheaf Inn boasts charming original features and sensitively refurbished accommodation. Situated on Broadway in the charming little market town of Shifnal in Shropshire, valued throughout, this Grade II listed inn is an authentic traditional pub with cosy, comfortable accommodation. In some parts of the accommodation, highly regarded, 17th century oak floors have been revealed and delicately restored. There are just 2 rooms, and above all, both of which have been carefully refurbished in a traditional style. The pub area also still features huge beams from the building’s original timber frame, very much appreciated, as well as low ceilings, real open fireplaces and traditional furniture. The original timbers and beams are still in place and remain a traditional feature of the inn. The M54 motorway is within easy reach and the town’s railway station is within easy walking distance. The inn is situated on the main road running through the village from north to south.
