Meadowhall Shopping Centre is just a short drive from Whitley Hall Hotel, very much appreciated, and the M1, M18 and M62 can be accessed easily. Delicious food is served in Whitley Hall Hotel restaurant which has been awarded an AA Rosette for its high standard of cuisine.

Hotel details

The grounds at Whitley Hall Hotel are graced with mature trees, including grand oaks, and are home to peacocks, Canada geese, mallards and squirrels. There are 6 conference and meeting rooms seating up to 80 delegates. Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout and there is ample free parking. The hotel building has an interesting history and it retains many of its beautiful period architectural features. Legend has it that Mary Queen of Scots stayed here whilst in the custody of the Earl of Shrewsbury.

By Car From the M1: - Exit the M1 at junction 35. - At the roundabout take the A629, signposted Chapeltown. - At the next roundabout take the first exit onto the A6135, sign-posted Sheffield. - After approximately 1 mile turn right onto the B6087 (Church Street) then turn right onto Whitley Lane. - After half a mile turn right onto Elliot Lane. - The hotel is approximately 300 metres along this road. By Rail: Chapeltown station is 2 miles (3.2 km) away. Sheffield station is 6 miles (9.7 km) away. Meadowhall Interchange is 6 miles (9.7 km) away. By Air: Robin Hood Doncaster Airport is 31 miles (50 km) away. Leeds Bradford Airport is 41 miles (66 km) away. Manchester Airport is 42 miles (67.6 km) away.
