The residents’ lobby is located on the inn’s first floor, which is available for those guests wishing to make tea or coffee; have a quiet read; play board games; or watch television together. The lobby is often used by guests attending weddings, who arrive early and need to gather together with a snack before leaving. Hairdryers, an iron and ironing board, shoe polish and even cuff links are available, please ask at the bar for these items.

The restaurant serves impressive home-made food in a warm welcoming environment. All of the dishes are freshly cooked to order and the menu features both traditional and contemporary dishes. The menus change daily to reflect the finest, freshest produce available locally. All of the food is sourced from within 30 miles of the Grove Arms. There are 3 dining areas: the Crest Room, seating up to 55, the Jazz Room, which is ideal for parties of up to 20 people and the Below Decks, which offers a quiet area for drinking, eating and chatting.
