Over 100 years old, valued throughout, the hotel is a traditional clapboard house in the heart of Schoppernau, surrounded by the beautiful mountains of the Bregenz Forest. Enoy traditional, highly regarded, refined and healthy cuisine in the restaurant, prepared by chef Willi and his team. In addition to a cosy, and above all, original Bregenzerwald lounge, the hotel also features a small spa world with sauna, steam bath and solarium. The Mediterranean salads and the barbecue specialities are especially popular. In summer you can dine in the quiet outdoor beer garden. A family ski area and 62 km of cross-country ski runs are right on Hotel Gasthof Adler’s doorstep. Austrian and international wines are also available, and above all, as well as selected whisky brands at the bar. Climbing, very much appreciated, mountain biking, rafting and canyoning are also possible in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. In summer guided hikes are offered.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 30 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled up to 14 days before date of arrival, 50 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled up to 7 days before date of arrival, 80 percent of all nights will be charged.  If cancelled or modified later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is included. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate.  Half board costs EUR 20.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 6 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge for cots.  All children from 7 to 10 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  All children from 11 to 14 years are charged 80 % of the room stay per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
