Newly renovated in 2008, the Santa Cruz Dream Inn features fun and free-spirited elements from lobby décor to restaurant theme. The vision of the Dream Inn was to incorporate the essence of Santa Cruz into the hotel’s iconic building. The Dream Inn is the only beachfront hotel in Santa Cruz. Newly renovated to be a four-star service luxury hotel. All rooms feature views of the ocean. The spacious deck features a pool, jacuzzi and children's wading pool.

Area information

The Santa Cruz Dream Inn is adjacent to one of the area’s best surfing beaches, and is within 20 miles of dozens of wineries and tasting rooms. This Santa Cruz hotel sits on Cowell’s Beach, which offers some of the best surfing in an area known for its great waves. The Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf and Boardwalk are both within two blocks, making for lots of pedestrian traffic in a town that’s best traversed on foot. Waves and sea lions can be heard from the hotel’s balconies and patios.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

10 % Tax is not included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is not included, breakfast menu is available and costs vary. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 12 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  One older child or adult is charged USD 15.00 per night in an extra bed.  One further older child or adult is charged USD 10.00 per night and person when using existing bedding.  Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1.
