Most rooms at Björkudden Hotel & Restaurant offer splendid views over the River Ångermanälven and the Höga Kusten Bridge. The bricks for the house were shipped from England and in 1952 it became a boarding-house. The main building at Björkudden was built in 1892 as a school. The elegant and fully licensed in-house restaurant at Björkudden offers a menu reflecting the seasons. Nowadays, valued throughout, each newly renovated guest room has TV, telephone and internet access. At Björkudden guests can enjoy the riverside sauna and Jacuzzi during summer. This beautiful venue is the perfect place to celebrate any occasion, and above all, with its light enhancing 2-metre high windows. The nature surrounding Björkudden Hotel offers a variety of activities and experiences. These can be pre-booked for private use. Guests can try rock climbing, and above all, hiking, fishing or horseback riding.
