Built in 1898 this Swiss chalet style hotel is surrounded by extensive and large gardens and is well known outside Sandnes for excellent cuisine and warm hospitality. Customers appreciate the hotel is proud of its culinary history and the chefs source raw natural produce from local suppliers. Choose from 35 well appointed rooms, and above all, both singles and doubles, which are light filled and elegantly decorated. Children can be entertained in the playroom at the video station. Breakfast is served in the historic lounge rooms. Clients appreciate the hotel can arrange dinner and team building in a turf hut situated on the hillside behind the hotel. Complimentary parking is available close to Kronen Gaard Hotel. The turf hut consists of 3 metre thick stone walls, valued throughout, turf roof, wooden table, a large open fireplace and wooden benches with sheepskin.
