Over the years as San Francisco has changed, The Majestic has kept pace but never lost sight of its unique architectural heritage and Edwardian ambiance. At the hotel, guests can enjoy one of the most elaborate and largest butterfly collections featuring rare specimens from New Guinea and Africa in the United States while dining in authentic Victorian elegance.

Food & Beverages

Cafe Majestic is open for a light continental breakfast from Tuesday through Sunday, from 7 AM until 11AM and re-opens at 5 PM offering a light fare menu and appetizers.

Upon check-in photo identification and credit card is required. All special requests are subject to availability upon check-in. Special requests cannot be guaranteed and may incur additional charges.

Internet

Wireless internet is available in the entire hotel and is free of charge. 

Parking

Private parking is possible on site and charges are applicable. 

Pets

Pets are not allowed.

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 1 day before the date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the first night will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

14 % Tax is not included.  Service charge is not applicable.  1.5 % city/tourist tax per room per night is not included. 

Meal Plan

Breakfast is not included, breakfast menu is available and costs vary. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  One child under 12 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding.  One older child or adult is charged USD 20.00 per night in an extra bed.  One child under 4 years stays free of charge in a baby cot.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
