In the cosy Arven tavern Sporthotel Scaletta serves local and Italian specialities. The newly built rooms in white spruce, which is arven, wood offer all the comforts necessary to guarantee a relaxing and unforgettable holiday in the Engadine. Sporthotel Scaletta also includes a big terrace in summer, very much appreciated, conference and seminar rooms, private parking and a garage for bikes and motorbikes. The Cheese Bar serves fondue and raclette both in summer and winter alike.

Area information

S-chanf is at the gates of one of most game-populated valleys of the National Park. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel and the station is 100 metres away. In the summer it is a paradise for walkers and cyclists, there is an Annual fishing meeting, Golf and Tophit packages, Nordic walking and in line skating track, stage finishing point for the National Park Bike Marathon and final goal for the In line Skater’s Cup. In Winter it is 550 metres from the cross country tracks, th Zuoz chairlift is 2 km away, a 5 minute bus trip away. 20 minutes away there is access to the major Engadine ski resorts: St. Moritz, Celerina, Corvatsch, Diavolezza and many more.

Travel information

- From Zurich head toward Landquart and Davos. - Continue over the Fluela Pass. - After Susch take the direction for Zernez / S-chanf. - At the S-chanf exit take a right turn and continue straight ahead till you reach the church which is opposite the hotel. - The hotel recommends the car-train in Klosters. - From Germany or Austria drive towards Landeck – Scuol- Zernez / S-chanf. - At the S-chanf exit take a right turn and continue straight ahead till you reach the church which is opposite the hotel.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

3.6 % VAT is included.  Service charge is included.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Buffet breakfast is included in the room rate. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 8 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children from 8 to 14 years are charged 50 % of the room stay per night and person when using existing bedding.  There is no capacity for extra beds/cots in the room.
