Travel information

Duxton Hotel Okawa Bay, Rotorua is located 17km from the heart of Rotorua on State Highway 33. To reach the hotel from Rotorua, follow the signs for State Highway 30 to Whakatane and Tauranga. Take Te Ngae Drive and follow this for 15 minutes. Rotorua Airport is on the left-hand side of the road and the Duxton Hotel is 5 minutes beyond the airport on the right-hand side of the road. The turn-off for the hotel is located just past Okawa Bay Rd on the right-hand side.

Hotel policies

Cancellation Policy

If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged.  If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged. 

Deposit Policy

No deposit will be charged. 

VAT and city/tourist taxes

12.5 % VAT is included.  Service charge is not applicable.  City/tourist tax is not applicable. 

Meal Plan

Continental breakfast costs NZD 20.00 per person.  Full English breakfast costs NZD 26.00 per person. 

Children and Extra Bed Policy

All children are welcome.  All children under 2 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.  All children under 2 years are charged NZD 30.00 per night and person for cots.  All older children or adults are charged NZD 30.00 per night and person for extra beds.  Maximum capacity of extra beds/babycots in a room is 1.
